Details:
Item shows evidence of use (as a sewing basket in Eastman family) and age of the materials. There is also some dark, almost black, rust marks in the central row of the handle on one side. When item was received there were two rusty needles threaded into the weaving at the location of the rust marks. There are two white pigment marks on bottom of basket.
