Additional notes:
Apart from providing an approved 'Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners' text it is also a teaching resource for advanced students. Recommend that readers including the 'Acknowledgement' text in documents contact Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre to have a talk about good use of it.
Suggestions (Teacher's Notes):
Although only one sentence it provides good examples of verb endings. Eg both 'nyernangurrang' and 'nyumangurrang' contain the 'we - exclusive' ie 'we-only' person ending. 'Nyumən' has the past participle ending and 'katimang' has the 'present participle' ending. Use these as examples for other verbs.
