Wirimbula has the 'bula' or 'pula' (two of ending) indicating that common useage is 'ears' not 'ear'. Hercus also gave an example phrase 'wirimbuluk' (its ears or scalp). In Vict. Languages a Late Survey - p195 'wirimbuluk' is (its ears or a rabbits scalp).

Vowels: Standard - ‘i’ as in ‘hit’, 'u' as in 'put', 'a' as in ‘path’. Variation - when ‘i’ follows a ‘w’  and is followed by a ‘r’, ‘rn’ or ‘rt’ but not ‘rr’, the ‘i’ is rounded off like ‘tu’ in French. (top of the tongue touches the back of the palate).
