'-tawa' is added to the end of nouns to show 'an action is happening along or beside it'.
Usage:

That is, it has the same rules and works the same as, the general oblique case marker '(k)-a' which is added to end of nouns to show 'an action is happening towards it'.) For example: 'Kalipinangurr larnangurrakang Tamatyerri-tawa. (We packed up our camp beside Tamatyerri Creek.)
