Vowels: Standard - 'u' as in 'put', - 'a' as in ‘path’. Variation - when ‘i’ follows a ‘p’ and is followed by ‘r’, ‘rn’ or ‘rt’, the ‘i’ is rounded off like ‘tu’ in French. (top of the tongue touches the back of the palate).
Note: fast and no gaps is normal, the last syllable 'wa' would be emphasised but not as much as the first.
